Call for Papers for Workshop on “Financial Frictions, ZombieFirms and the Macroeconomy”
The Bank of England,
Wadham College (University of Oxford), and
the Center for Positive/Empirical Analysis of Political Economy,Waseda University jointly invite applications for papers to be presented at the Workshop onFinancialFrictions, Zombie Firms and the Macroeconomy.
The workshop will be held in-person on Monday 13 March 2023, in Wadham College in the University of Oxford, preceded by the workshop dinner in the Hall on Sunday 12 March 2023.
The workshop will feature participants from academics and policy makers with presentations of ongoing projects and recent research papers related to firm dynamics, bank lending, monetary policy and macroeconomic conditions with a focus on firm productivity and credit market frictions.
We invite submissions for this conference from interested researchers on:
Firm dynamics and financial frictions
Monetary and fiscal policy
Bank lending and credit conditions
The deadline for applications isJanuary20, 2023.
